I created this blog to share my experience of "indoor farming" (aquaponics / hydroponics and worm composting), some recipes and, share some of my opinions. Also, with the recent (December 2014) award of a small grant, CHFERMETTE has become a non-profit with the goal to develop a model for educating and producing local food for a low cost, to provide lower income families with a local alternative to cheap veggies from 1000's of miles away.
Who are we ?
For now, Chfermette is very young, and we are the small group of students form the Bronx Writing Accademy who signed in for the apprenticeship.

Donation
Although we are not yet tax exempt, your donation will be greatly appreciated and used to expand chfermette offering to our students, and create new programs and other goals such as finalizing a tax exempt status to be able to be receive tax-deductible donations.
